Individual Outreach Overview
USAC's program of Individual Outreach is designed to provide USF beneficiaries with customized support in all four USF programs and also to help USAC understand procedures and operations from a participant's perspective.
Individual Outreach will be a feature of education activities in all four USF programs: High Cost, Low Income, Rural Health Care, and Schools and Libraries. It is designed to enable USAC staff to deliver real-time, one-on-one support customized to individual USF program participants' unique circumstances. Along with other education and training activities, Individual Outreach extends USAC's efforts to provide comprehensive information and easy-to-use tools that enable beneficiaries to get the most out of opportunities for USF support.
USAC staff members conduct Individual Outreach activities by phone, email, video-conference, or in person. Depending on the nature and number of issues to discuss, USAC provides outreach in various ways to accommodate the needs, interests, and schedules of program participants. With this activity, USAC hopes to remove obstacles to participants' success with USF programs and to enlarge their understanding of program opportunities, operations, and requirements.
